AI-assisted 3x3 solver help, scanner, and limits

Use the free online solver when you have a real 3x3 cube state and want an AI-assisted cube solver scanner, manual color entry, and guided step-by-step help. The notes below explain when the solver works best, why some scans are rejected, and how to keep learning after the cube is solved.

How the AI scanner workflow works

Capture all six faces with the AI-assisted camera scanner or enter the colors manually. Keep the requested top color in place for each face, review the detected stickers and center scheme, then solve online and follow the moves in the 3D viewer.

Supported cube type

The solver is built for valid standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube states using the app's fixed center color scheme: white opposite yellow, red opposite orange, and green opposite blue. It does not solve 2x2, 4x4, mirror cubes, shape mods, nonstandard color schemes, or impossible sticker layouts.

Manual color-entry solver

If scanning is not convenient, choose manual entry and fill each face sticker by sticker. Fixed center colors and color counts help catch mistakes such as too many red stickers, swapped centers, or a face that was entered in the wrong orientation.

Camera scan fallback

If the camera is unavailable or an online cube color scan looks wrong, use brighter even lighting, avoid glare, keep all 9 stickers inside the guide, rescan only the weak face, or switch to manual entry for that session.

Step playback

After the solution is ready, follow the move track one step at a time. R, U, F, L, D, and B refer to cube faces; a prime mark means turn counterclockwise, and 2 means turn the face twice. Rotate the viewer when you need to check orientation before continuing.
