Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Effective date: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Valkyrja Interactive LLC, doing business as Cubzor ("Cubzor," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit or use the Cubzor website, browser-based cube tools, solver, simulator, training tools, learning content, records pages, news pages, mobile app promotion pages, and related online services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Summary

Cubzor is a browser-first cube learning, practice, and solving service. The web Service currently does not require a user account and does not directly process payments on the website.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • information you provide when you contact us;
  • browser, device, page, event, and diagnostic information;
  • local browser storage for settings, practice progress, trainer progress, and app-promotion preferences;
  • cube colors, manual entries, and camera screenshots you submit for cube-face detection;
  • cookies and similar technologies used for analytics, advertising, security, preferences, and consent choices.

We use a limited set of service providers to operate the Service, including Google services for analytics, advertising, consent tooling, and AI-assisted cube-face detection.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you choose to provide, such as:

  • your email address and message content when you contact support;
  • bug reports, feedback, screenshots, browser details, device details, and page URLs you include in a support message;
  • information you submit through interactive tools, including cube color entries and scanner inputs.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

2.2 Camera Scanner and Cube Detection Information

If you use the camera-assisted cube scanner, your browser may request camera permission. Camera access is controlled by your browser and device settings.

When you choose to scan a cube face, the Service may capture an image or screenshot from your camera feed and transmit it to our server for automated cube color detection. That image may be processed by third-party AI or vision providers, including Google AI services, to return detected facelet colors, confidence scores, and warnings.

You should scan only the puzzle face. Do not submit images containing faces, people, addresses, documents, payment cards, school information, private messages, or other personal or sensitive information. We do not intentionally use scanner images to identify people.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP address;
  • browser type, device type, operating system, language, screen size, and referral information;
  • pages viewed, links clicked, routes visited, session events, and timestamps;
  • interactions with solver, practice, trainer, learning, records, app-promotion, and navigation features;
  • error logs, performance information, and diagnostic information;
  • advertising, analytics, consent, and anti-abuse signals.

2.4 Local Browser Storage

The Service may store data locally in your browser, such as:

  • app settings and display preferences;
  • practice state, timer state, training history, recognition progress, algorithm trainer data, favorites, or checklist progress;
  • app-promotion dismissal state and session display state;
  • consent-related choices and similar preference data.

Local browser storage is stored on your device. It may be cleared by your browser, device, privacy settings, extensions, or cache-clearing tools.

2.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, or similar technologies for:

  • operating the Service;
  • remembering preferences;
  • measuring site usage and performance;
  • preventing abuse and improving security;
  • showing, measuring, limiting, or personalizing ads where enabled and permitted;
  • recording consent choices.

Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to Cubzor or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or learn more about industry opt-out choices at aboutads.info.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires certain disclosures and consent for cookies or local storage where legally required and for personal data used for ads personalization. We may use Google's consent tools or another consent management platform to collect and manage those choices.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The web Service does not intentionally collect:

  • account passwords;
  • payment card numbers through the website;
  • precise GPS location;
  • contacts, calendars, or phone call records;
  • government identifiers;
  • biometric identifiers used to identify a person;
  • health information;
  • information from children under 13.

If you choose to include sensitive information in a support message, scanner image, or other submission, we may receive it because you provided it. Please avoid doing so.

4. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • to process manual cube entries and camera-assisted cube scans;
  • to generate solver, simulator, training, and playback functionality;
  • to respond to support requests, bug reports, privacy requests, and feedback;
  • to analyze usage, performance, conversion, and feature quality;
  • to show and measure ads and app-promotion content where enabled;
  • to remember preferences and local progress;
  • to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and technical problems;
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use;
  • to protect the rights, property, and safety of Cubzor, users, service providers, and others.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • consent, such as for certain cookies, ads personalization, camera permission, or optional communications;
  • performance of a contract, such as providing the Service under the Terms of Use;
  • legitimate interests, such as operating, improving, securing, analyzing, and supporting the Service;
  • legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests or maintaining records required by law.

You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, but withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

  • service providers that host, operate, secure, analyze, advertise, or support the Service;
  • Google services used for analytics, advertising, consent tooling, and AI-assisted cube-face detection;
  • app stores or third-party platforms when you choose to follow app-promotion links or use those platforms;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal representatives;
  • government authorities, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required or appropriate under law;
  • parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction;
  • others with your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics technologies may involve disclosures that some laws define as "sharing" or targeted advertising. Where required, we provide choices through consent tools, browser settings, provider opt-outs, or other available mechanisms.

7. Advertising and Analytics Providers

The Service may use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Google AdSense, Google's Funding Choices consent tools, and related Google advertising or measurement technologies. These tools may process device, browser, usage, event, consent, and advertising information according to Google's policies.

Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • serve ads;
  • measure ad performance;
  • limit ad frequency;
  • combat fraud and abuse;
  • personalize ads where permitted by your consent choices and applicable law.

You can manage certain Google ad preferences through Google Ads Settings. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Some browser choices may reduce or break parts of the Service.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

In general:

  • local browser data remains on your device until you or your browser delete it;
  • support emails and related correspondence may be kept as long as needed to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law;
  • analytics and advertising data are retained according to our settings and provider retention controls;
  • camera scanner images are processed to provide cube-face detection and are not intended to be stored by Cubzor as user files, but they may be transmitted through our systems and service providers and may exist temporarily in provider processing systems, security systems, or logs;
  • security, diagnostic, and server logs may be kept for a limited period for operations, debugging, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and use service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries that may not provide the same data protection laws as your location.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or legal mechanisms for international transfers.

10. Your Choices

Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to:

  • request access to information about you;
  • request correction or deletion;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • request portability;
  • opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities;
  • appeal a decision where applicable law provides an appeal right.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@valkyryainteractive.com. We may need information to verify your identity and process your request. We will respond as required by applicable law.

You can also use browser controls to block or delete cookies, clear local storage, disable camera permission, or limit tracking. If you clear local storage, saved practice or trainer data may be lost.

11. California Privacy Notice

This section is provided for California residents and describes practices for the 12 months before the "Last updated" date above.

Categories of personal information we may collect include:

  • identifiers, such as email address if you contact us, IP address, and online identifiers;
  • internet or other electronic network activity, such as pages viewed, interactions, referral data, and event data;
  • device and browser information;
  • approximate location derived from IP address;
  • user-provided content, such as support messages, feedback, bug reports, manual cube entries, and scanner submissions;
  • inferences or aggregated insights based on usage patterns, such as feature performance or training activity.

Sources include you, your browser or device, your interactions with the Service, and service providers.

Purposes include providing the Service, processing scans, analytics, advertising, security, support, debugging, legal compliance, and enforcement of our Terms.

Categories of recipients may include hosting providers, Google services, analytics providers, advertising providers, AI service providers, security providers, professional advisers, legal authorities, and transaction parties in a business transfer.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. To exercise rights, contact support@valkyryainteractive.com.

The California Consumer Privacy Act applies only to businesses that meet certain legal thresholds. We provide this notice to be transparent, but nothing in this Privacy Policy is an admission that every privacy law applies to Cubzor in every circumstance.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@valkyryainteractive.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it as required by law.

If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no website, network, transmission, storage system, browser, device, or service provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites, app stores, public datasets, social platforms, analytics providers, advertising providers, AI providers, and other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for third-party privacy, security, content, availability, or data practices.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signals. Because standards and provider support vary, the Service may not respond to all such signals in the same way. Where required by applicable law and supported by our tools or providers, we will treat recognized opt-out preference signals as required.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Unless otherwise stated, changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
